The Petronas Towers – the most famous twin towers in the world
The world-famous Petronas Towers, also known as the Petronas Twin Towers, are located in The Golden Triangle quarter, and are the tallest twin towers in the world (1482 ft). The trademark of the twin towers is the Skybridge, which connects both towers on the 41st and 42nd floors. From up here you have an incredible view over the fantastic town. On the lower floors you can shop in luxury boutiques and giant shopping centres, or visit one of the many museums.
The Royal Palace in a beautiful palace garden
Built in 1928, the Royal Palace is one of the most glamorous buildings of the town. After extensive restoration in 1980, there are many rooms located in the palace museum, which can be used for various occasions. The changing of the guard ceremony is held at 10 am and 3 pm every day. The Royal Palace’s interior isn’t available to be viewed by visitors, but the large palace garden offers a beautiful exterior view of the bright building. There’s a small lake, a 6-hole golf course and several tennis courts located in the garden, which offer a welcome retreat from the noise of the big city.
